Can you recommend me some Action/Medieval/Sci-Fi/Crime books?

Looking for some nice books to read, i like mostly action books. Anything from the crusades in medieval times such as Pilgrimage to Sci-Fi action adventures such as Deathworld or Star Trek books.

Well your request is rather broad, but I think I have one that you will love because it covers Action/Medieval/Sci-Fi all in one!

This was an eye opening look at how technology could transform a society, and gave some very good descriptions of simple improvements that lead to our own industrial revolution.
I guess you can tell I loved these books.

Similarly you might enjoy these as they are novels that mix action, ancient societies, and Sci-Fi. These have a bit more female intrigue but it is not explicit.
